For those players that desire to improve their lax skills or want to learn lax over the summer, Jr. Greyhounds is offering Summer 2011 Lacrosse Skills and Drills.

Each age group will be lead by coaches with Div I lax experience!

From: June 6- August 5th at Hightower Middle School

Rising 1st – 5th graders: Mon/Wed nights 7 – 8:30 skills and drills with Coach Cantando and Coach Gilbert

Rising: 6 - 8th graders: Tues/Thurs nights 7 – 8:30 skills and drills with Coach Mathews and Coach Stone

The purpose of the Pope Junior Football Club is to foster and promote interest in football to student/athletes who reside within the Pope High School District. The Club's purpose is to deliver a group of players well schooled in the fundamentals of football with the ability to compete at that next level.

It is the program's desire to instill the highest qualities of sportsmanship in our young athletes. We do this through consistent mentoring of our players through our coaches, team moms and parent volunteers. We are here to teach our players that while winning is very important, the true test in any walk of life is to be of the best moral character.

The organization will ENCOURAGE the coaches to play as many players in the games as possible, and will REQUIRE that all players be actively involved in practice.
